I Still Don’t Believe
When coming from Benin, we have to pass so many towns before we enter afuze, we passed sabongidda-ora, uokha, ojavun, okpokhumi, Evbiamen, Okpa, Eteye, Uanhumi and then Afuze which is the capital of Emai, we will need to go back to Evbiamen (river people) because that’s where am likely to meet the Queen, only Evbiamen and Ogute have big rivers in Emai, that’s mostly everything happens there, even when the people want to do sacrifice they go over there.
We will need to take okada if we want to go back to Evbiamen (bridge, it’s the bridge that separate Evbiamen and Ogute from each other), and since it’s dark it will be difficult to get a bike, except those ones coming from party because I know afuze people know how to party very much.
We stroll to the only bank in afuze which is unity bank, we sat in front of one barber shop close to the bank waiting for bike.
Ade: what are we waiting for?
Me: bike, we can’t walk back to the bridge.
Ade: then why didn’t we stop in that bridge instead of coming all the way here?
Me: I forgot.
Ade: when are we going to get Elizabeth?
Me: relax, we just arrived, let’s wait for bike first.
Ade: you know there is no time right? You are not taking this seriously, very soon you will start seeing sign of the apocalypse, by then it will be too late.
Me: what do you want me to do? Am doing the best I can here, you might have some powers but me I have none, so allow me to take my time abeg.
Ade: hmm, okay.
Am thinking so many things, what happened last time was a dream or so I thought, but the king said it wasn’t a dream that it’s a step to prepare me for the bigger fight, I mean which fight can be bigger than that last one, I lost so many people and almost lost my life too, which kind of preparation is that?
Oh well let me just play the game and see what will happen later, but am not taking any risk because I don’t have any powers like I have in my dream.
